My favourite song quotes...

Credits to Rhiannon.

"It's better to burn out than fade away" -Neil Young, In the song "Hey hey" Kurt Cobain quoted to this when he commited suicide in 94. His first attempt he quoted Shakespeare

"Scatamoose, scatamoose, can you do the fandango?" Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Just another "wtf?" in lyrics history. This whole song is full of wacky words.

"rock and roll ain't noise pollution, rock and roll ain't gonna die" AC/DC. One of the few songs i like that Brian Johnson sings... Btw Brian, you were wrong about that last part.

"There's nothing fair in this world. There's nothing safe in this world." Billy Idol, White Wedding

If I think of any others, they'll be in the comments section...

Well, in a sense, Nirvana killed music. From them sprouted many whiney singers and many many simplistic, repetitive, crappy-toned guitarists. I like Nirvana, but they're the only band in that specific genre that I think is good.

pshah I disagree! I mean nirvana inspired almost every rock musician on the planet dude! Sure there' sum crap but more good stuff too! So quit being so criticy! NIRVANAS GREAT AND ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL!!!!'

Most everything after Nirvana sucked. There are a couple of good bands, I'm not going to argue that, but do you see what I mean? And every rock musician on the planet? Inspired by Nirvana? You can't be serious... Try someone like Jimi Hendrix, or The Who, or Black Sabbath. Nirvana was the start of a new era, but it soon went bad.

Ahem...ninja...i have to agree wiff kevin...nirvana did not found all rock...there are a ton of people/musicians (rock genres, or other) that dont really like nirvana...still sound a ton like em... black sabbath, jimi hendrix, the beatles...and others...would still have the same music, if nirvana had ever played music or not, now...dont get me wrong...i like nirvana...they inspired some great bands...but did not inspire some greater..
